Rough and Ready
Bill Sturgis is the owner of this early-production '62 Loadside. It is for sale. I saw the truck in December, 2002, and the body looked very solid (minimal rust) but did have some damage, most of which is visible in the pictures I took. It appears the truck has been repainted from the original Glenwood Green with no stripe.
Bill runs a towing operation in Tempe, AZ and the truck is stored next to his place of business. The previous owner was Larry Aldrich, who some folks know via his business, Larry's Corvair Storage. Larry's business is in the same area as the location where the Loadside is stored.
