Jim Bents of San Jose, CA has owned this Rampside since November, 1988. Jim had the following to say about his long-time companion:
"I bought it from George Truman, a fellow UltraVan friend at the time. It had a 102 HP engine with a 3-speed transmission when I bought it. My Greenbrier had a 4-speed transmission, so every time I'd take off from a stop light in the Rampside, I'd darned near back in to the car behind me!
I now have a 110 HP engine with a 4-speed transmission installed in the truck. it's just a driver that should be fixed up. It is currently white with a metallic dark brown stripe and bumpers."
