Transmission Closeup

View of transmission, left side. Note that the front of the transmission does not have an input shaft (as normal) but instead a bearing housing. The rear of the transmission shows the output shaft, shortened from normal T5 length. The output shaft is hollow and the input shaft fits inside of it. Also, the rear housing has been shortened considerably and a Corvair differential adapter plate has been welded onto it.

Visit American Boxer R&D, LLC's photo gallery for photos of the output shaft, bearing housing, and rear housing.
