In this photo Duanne captured pieces from the convertible top mechanism after he refinished them. They will be all but hidden once the car is put together, since there is no dome light in a convertible! Of course, when the top is put down these pieces are visible, but one rarely does that with a concours car, to prevent creases developing in the rear window.
