The car didn't get out much in 2007. I drove it occasionally on nice days to ensure everything continued to work smoothly but that was about it.
2008 was a different matter though. I started out with a short trip, barely more than a mile from my house, to Lee Johnson Chevrolet's 75th Anniversary month-long celebration. Three generations of the Johnson family have owned and operated this dealership in Kirkland and it's still going strong.
We shared the May 17 show with Yesterday's Chevelle & El Camino Club, which was fun. The weather was unseasonably hot and sunny for May, which really made the cars shine. Lots of people stopped to look, since the dealership is on a busy thoroughfare.
