Part of the reason for taking the car to Ventura was to finally meet up with my good friend Jeff Koch. Jeff and I went to college at Purdue together and we have been trying to get together to see the car for several years.

Jeff works for Hemmings as a West Coast Assistant Editor. Duanne Luckow photographed Jeff and me at one of Jeff's favorite locations, which was conveniently about 20 miles from the convention site. I got up the nerve to drive the car there and back and I'm glad I did. It ran great and I had a blast! The car now has about 100 miles on it. Thanks to Duanne and to Jackson Weaver for following in separate cars "just in case".
